Our Property
Welcome to the As You Wish Training Grounds!
Our kennel is located in Harrisville, Michigan on a 17 acre property. We have 3 ponds on property including a 5-acre technical pond and a swim-by pond. We have ample space for running land marks and blinds as well as an area with a mowed-T to run drills. Our property consists of 15 indoor climate controlled kennels with a 30×50 airing yard, a bunkhouse, and The Debbie Beattie Clubhouse. We have space for camping and RVs in our aspen trees for training weekends and retreats.
Ponds
Technical Pond
This pond is 5 acres, was hand designed by Sheree Barbey and is perfect for advanced work.
Swim-by Pond
This pond is ideal for teaching a dog casting on the water and beginning de-cheating.
Willow Pond
This pond is located in the front of the property and a future project.

Training
Looking for an area with a swim-by pond and a large field to run drills with your young dog, or technical water to work with your advanced dog? In May the property around our house will be open Monday-Friday for individuals or groups to schedule to come train for the day or multiple days. From June to August our property will be open Monday to Thursday.
Clubhouse, Bunkhouse, and Kennels
Since purchasing the property in October 2021, we began renovations to the garage and the surrounding area that will be home to our new clubhouse and kennel area.
The new clubhouse will be a great place to host seminars and to gather for a bite to eat in the evenings and to swap stories and brag about dogs after winding down from training. The clubhouse will have a live-oak roll out bar and couches to rest after a long day. Next to the clubhouse there are two bedrooms, each with two twin beds, and a bathroom that is for rent during week long trainings or the retriever challenge. We also have a designated area in our aspen trees that is perfect for a limited number of RVs and tents.
Wrapping the side and back of the clubhouse, we are building an enclosed kennel building. Inside there will be 15 kennels that are climate controlled year round. The backdoor of the kennels will open up to a 30×50 airing yard.
